- Global Peace and Security While the current situation in Iraq is the most visible foreign policy failure that we currently face, it is only a symptom of an underlying foreign policy sickness. Instead of impulsively forcing military solutions on every foreign policy problem we encounter, we need to reorient America towards fostering global peace and security by strengthening diplomacy, increasing international development aid and addressing the root causes of terrorism and instability.
- Eradicating Poverty As long as our nation's leaders proceed from a belief in what government cannot do, we will not have a government worthy of the people it is designed to serve. That is why Barbara and One Voice will continue the fight to make eradicating poverty a priority and fulfilling the vision of a government as good as the people it serves.
- Changing the Face of Politics One Voice is a Political Action Committee that is committed not only to electing progressive candidates to Congress, but to changing the way that our political system works in the process by engaging communities and individuals who have traditionally been excluded from the political process, with a special emphasis placed on young people, individuals of color, and low income Americans.
